AT HOME IN BURNHAM
Burnham character. Your individual style.
Burnham’s long-established High Street and St Peter’s Church give the village a character that reaches back centuries. Its position near the Thames also places it within easy reach of the neighbouring towns, while retaining a distinct village centre.
Our advice starts with your home: the window shape, the light, the furnishings you love and the way you use the room. Drawing on more than 25 years of making experience, Sacha helps translate those details into a practical, attractive blinds scheme.
YOUR ROOM, CONSIDERED
Blinds that respect the window and simplify the room
A street-facing window in Burnham village may need privacy while keeping useful daylight. Venetian blinds allow you to tilt the slats rather than lift the whole treatment. We can explain how that differs from a fabric roller or Roman blind, and discuss the view into the room at different times of day.
In a Lent Rise kitchen or breakfast room, handles, tiled recesses and access to the sill are useful starting points. A roller blind creates a straightforward outline, but its material and fitting need to suit the position. Bring photographs of any taps, opening sections and nearby cooking areas so these details inform the choice.
Roman blinds offer a softer option for a dining room or bedroom where fabric is part of the scheme. In an older opening, measuring the recess at several points is especially useful. We can assess whether an outside-recess position would give a better proportion and explain how much glass the raised folds will cover.

Your Burnham blinds questions
Do you cover Burnham and the surrounding area?
Yes. Our service covers Burnham village, Lent Rise and the surrounding area. We are based in Bracknell and arrange visits by appointment. Send your postcode and a few details about the windows so we can plan the next steps for your location.
How much do made-to-measure blinds in Burnham cost?
The price depends on the window sizes, chosen blinds, fabrics or materials, operating system and fitting requirements. Share photographs, approximate dimensions and your budget for an initial discussion. We will explain the options and provide a quote based on the agreed specification.
Can you help with older and newer windows?
Yes. A street-facing window in Burnham village may need privacy while keeping useful daylight. We check the opening, fixing space and practical requirements rather than assuming that a standard fitting will suit every property. If you are renovating, involve us before final decisions about recesses, tracks and surrounding finishes.
Can I compare samples at home?
Yes. Our mobile van showroom brings hundreds of fabric samples for you to choose from. Arrange a viewing so you can compare suitable options in your own light. If you already have fabric, we can assess whether its quantity, composition and pattern suit the proposed work.
