THE PRODUCT, EXPLAINED
Wave is a curtain heading system that creates a continuous series of S-shaped folds. Unlike a stitched pinch pleat, the visual rhythm comes from the way the heading and compatible track work together. The fabric sits below the track, with an even progression of folds along the window.
This makes Wave a useful choice when you want the curtains to feel like part of the architecture. It can work particularly well with broad glazing, full-height windows and open-plan rooms. A sheer fabric gives a light, flowing effect; a more substantial fabric creates a stronger frame around the view.
Wave needs careful planning around the track, the fabric and the available depth. Not every fabric behaves in the same way, and adding lining changes its body. We will look at the space in front of the window and the area where the open curtain will gather, so the proportions are considered from the beginning.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR HOME

Softness and recovery matter: the fabric needs to settle into an even ripple after being drawn.
A sheer and an opaque curtain can provide different moods through the day.
WHERE IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY

Wave curtains suit wide glazing where you want one calm line across the room. Taking a track close to the ceiling can emphasise height, while a generous space at each side helps the open curtains sit clear of the view. In an open-plan room, repeat a colour from the sofa or rug to connect the different areas.
In a bedroom, consider a sheer layer for filtered daytime light and a separate lined curtain for the evening. A sheer by itself will not provide reliable privacy after dark. The two tracks, fabric depths and access to the window need to be planned together.
A very stiff fabric can resist the soft ripple; a heavy cloth may need a different track specification. Bring the room dimensions and fabric preferences together before choosing the final Wave arrangement.

YOUR OPTIONS
Wave relies on the relationship between the heading tape, hooks and linked gliders. Spacing affects the size and depth of each fold, so the track is part of the design from the outset. We consider the available projection and the space for the curtains when open before confirming the arrangement.
Softness and recovery matter: the fabric needs to settle into an even ripple after being drawn. A light sheer behaves differently from a lined decorative cloth. Compare the proposed fabric with the intended lining, rather than judging its drape from an unlined sample alone.
A sheer and an opaque curtain can provide different moods through the day. Each layer needs a suitable track and enough depth to move freely. We check that the folds do not rub against one another, catch handles or obstruct the route through garden doors.

PLANNING YOUR PROJECT
Size is one part of the picture. Your choice of fabric, the amount needed, pattern matching, construction, hardware and fitting requirements all contribute to the quotation. A more detailed finish or a motorised system can change the scope.

Wave uses the heading and linked track gliders to form a continuous ripple. Pinch pleats are sewn into the fabric as separate groups. They have different visual effects and fitting requirements, so the choice should include the track as well as the fabric.
